How To Make Gardener's Liquid Hand Soap

Planting and maintaining your garden has many benefits, and though I love to feel the dirt between my hands, I know some don't. Today I'm sharing two easy DIY gardener's liquid hand soaps to help clean your hands after working in the garden all day.

DIY Gardener's Liquid Hand Soaps

Dirt-stained hands you get from gardening are far from ideal, but with these easy-to-make gardener's hand soaps, you'll have clean, beautiful hands again. Look for these liquid soaps to exfoliate, cleanse, and moisturize your hands all in one! Also, to benefit from exfoliation, you'll want to use sugar with large granules, such as white sugar or raw sugar.

DIY Gardener's Hand Soap

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup white sugar or raw cane sugar
  • 3 TBLS liquid castile soap
  • 1 TBLS doTerra's Fractionated Coconut Oil
  • 1 TSP almond oil or vitamin E oil
  • 15 drops of Geranium essential oil

*Geranium essential oil is known to help dry skin and smells like roses.

Directions:

  • In a small bowl, add all ingredients and stir until smooth and combined.
  • Pour into an air-tight glass container and keep it beside the sink for easy use.
  • Start with a small amount of soap and scrub your hands. Pat dry. Your hands should be clean, soft, and exfoliated.

*If dry hands persist, make and use soap without the sugar.
